The answers you’re looking for are always at your reach when you choose to do business with Ritter Lane Soap Co. We’re constantly updating our FAQs below in order to reflect important company updates. If you can’t find the answers you’re looking for, please reach out -I am always ready to help.

I follow your Facebook and don't see the same products on your website:
Due to the nature of my products, I make small batches. If at any time you see a product on my social media accounts that you would like to order, contact me. I would be proud to make a fresh batch for you. Depending on the products, it can be made and shipped within the week (Excluding soaps.2-4 weeks). This will help you get the freshest products.

Do you accept returns?
We do not accept returns under any circumstances due to sanitary reasons. Once an order is shipped, all sales are final.

Product Refunds
Refunds will be determined on an individual basis. No refunds will be given due to personal dislike of scent, texture, or design. Please keep in mind that every nose is different and scents may be perceived differently per person. We do our best to describe the scents based upon the fragrance and essential oils that are used and descriptions given from the manufacturers. As our products are handmade, design will vary slightly.

Do you take special requests?

Yes! We have found that some of our customers are allergic to certain ingredients. The best part of handcrafted soaps and body products is it can be formulated for you in mind! If you are sensitive to specific oils or butters let us know and we will create a product just for you!

My package has arrived damaged/has the wrong products/is missing products/etc.!
Please contact us via phone, email, or chat and we will do our best to make things right ASAP!

If any inventory discrepancies occur, we will contact you as soon as possible to correct your order. You can choose a refund for product amount or an alternate product.  We do not foresee these issues, but it may occur.

Can you ship baked or canned good?

No. Due to Minnesota Cottage food laws, Any and all homemade baked, canned, or home processed foods must be picked up by customer or delivered in person. This is for your protection. This helps to not only keep your food fresh, but also to keep contaminates and foreign bodies out during handling. 

Where is your store located?

We do not have an actual store. We have a Farm Stand and a Mobile Soap Shack.

Weather permitting, we stock the Farm Stand daily with fresh breads, preserves, and seasonal produce. 

The Soap Shack is fully stocked with soaps for those who wish to shop in person. (cold in Minnesota winters)

During Spring and Summer months the Shack does travel to local events and Farmers Markets.

What are your hours?

Weather permitting, we stock the Stand Daily. Normally by noon each day and close it up at dark.

If temperatures are too cold, we only do meet ups to keep products from freezing.

The Soap Shack is available for shopping almost at any given time but would request you let us know you're coming in the winter so we can turn some heat on. (dress warm)
